Rustem Jamburbayev

Rustem has recently joined GENn Investment Counsel Ltd. as a Portfolio Analyst and is helping manage firms day-to-day wealth management and investment operations. He has completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree with the concentration in Finance at the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® Charterholder.

Upon graduation, his keen passion for investing and a strong interest in capital markets led him to start his career as an Equity Trader for a proprietary trading firm in Calgary. Before joining GENn Investment Counsel he was a Paraplanner at Algar, Virtue & Associates, where he provided comprehensive customized financial planning services (Investment & Retirement Planning, Risk Management, Estate Planning, and Cash Flow Planning) to high net worth client families.

Rustem is an active member of his community and in the past has volunteered for CRA where he was helping lower-income families with their tax returns. He is also helping Canadians in need by regularly donating blood with Canadian Blood Services.

In his spare time, Rustem enjoys snowboarding, Formula 1 and constantly works on improving his academic skills. He has completed numerous courses from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSC, CPH, WME, LLQP) and is currently learning computer programming.
